£37.12 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Permanent nights, mix of 4 on / 4 off and 5 on / 5 off
3-month rolling contract (with strong long-term potential for the right candidate)
Level 3 Qualification in Engineering required

The Role

Step into a hub of technical excellence, handling the inspection, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and overhaul on passenger fleets.

We’re recruiting skilled Technicians to join a cutting-edge rail operation in the North where innovation meets precision.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of traction and rolling stock to company standards (Mechanical and Electrical)
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
Use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials responsibly
Operate plant and equipment in line with competency certification
Follow all technical instructions and quality procedures (including ISO standards)
Essential

NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering discipline
Must be able to pass a Medical and a Drugs and Alcohol assessment.
