Principal Engineer, Bridges & Structures Wide

As a key member of our Bridges & Structures team, you’ll help drive our transition to a solutions‑focused provider and support the delivery of structural solutions across highways, rail, aviation, energy and power sectors.

• Lead and mentor teams in structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender and detailed designs, and the preparation of contract documents and technical reports.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, high‑quality services to clients.
• Champion innovative thinking and diverse perspectives to identify best‑value solutions.
• Work closely with UK and Global Integrated Delivery teams to optimise resources and ensure efficient, successful project outcomes.

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• A professional qualification.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and time‑management skills.
• Project management experience related to bridge design or other disciplines.
• Strong technical design and practical problem‑solving skills.
• A background in bridge design, asset management, structures renewals and post‑tensioned structures is desirable.
