My client is a well‑established and growing Building Services Consultancy delivering innovative engineering solutions across a diverse range of commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and industrial projects.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team in Newcastle.

• Lead the electrical design of building services projects across multiple sectors.
• Prepare electrical calculations, specifications, reports, and detailed design drawings.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Act as the Electrical Lead on projects and attend client and design team meetings.
• Support and mentor Junior and Intermediate Engineers.
• Contribute to the development of low‑carbon and energy‑efficient design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practice.

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior Electrical Design Engineer position.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Experience using Trimble and Amtech software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services design and project delivery.
• Experience developing low‑carbon and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
