About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Pre-Construction Engineer to join a leading engineering and construction organisation based in Newcastle. This role will play a critical part in supporting major infrastructure and construction projects from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Review technical designs, specifications and tender documentation.
Conduct feasibility assessments and value engineering exercises.
Collaborate with design, commercial and project delivery teams.
Support bid submissions and pre-construction planning activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant UK standards and regulations.

Requirements

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Strong pre-construction, design coordination or bid support experience.
Knowledge of infrastructure, industrial or commercial construction projects.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
