Our client is a specialist engineering business providing high-quality testing solutions to customers operating across oil & gas, subsea, renewables and heavy industry. Backed by a well-established engineering group, they combine technical excellence with outstanding customer service and are continuing to invest in both their people and commercial capability.

Following continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen their sales team and help develop new business opportunities while supporting existing customers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a growing engineering business.

The Technical Sales Engineer will manage enquiries from initial customer contact through to quotation, negotiation and order placement. Working closely with engineering and operations teams, the Technical Sales Engineer will develop technical proposals, build lasting customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.

The Technical Sales Engineer will review engineering drawings, prepare quotations, provide technical advice and ensure commercially competitive solutions are delivered. Alongside maintaining existing accounts, the Technical Sales Engineer will proactively identify opportunities across oil & gas, subsea, renewables and wider industrial sectors.

This Technical Sales Engineer role offers excellent exposure to technically challenging engineering projects within a supportive, collaborative business.

• Previous technical sales or applications engineering experience
• Engineering or industrial background
• Able to interpret engineering drawings
• Commercially aware
• Strong communication skills
• Experience preparing quotations
• CRM experience desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
