OpportunityClimate change refers to long‑term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.
We live in a world facing huge challenges of climate change and adaptation. The infrastructure we rely upon to keep our societies healthy, vibrant and productive will need to change and develop to meet those challenges and we aim to be part of that process.
We are looking for an engineer to join our infrastructure mechanical team to deliver projects that benefit society, industry and the environment. - Renewable energy systems
- Hydrogen and energy storage systems
- Water treatment and supply
You will have the opportunity to make a difference - to Arup, to our staff and to the clients and communities we serve. With collaboration at its core our team works with major Energy, Water and Industrial clients as well as numerous individual commissions. Our multi‑disciplinary engineers work closely together on a wide variety of utility and industrial projects across the UK and beyond.
Our work is hugely rewarding, making a positive difference to people and the environment as well as pushing the boundaries of technical and digital innovation.
QualificationsWe are seeking the below skills and knowledge:
