Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Newcastle University invites applications for a PhD studentship funded by ENI, starting 1 October 2026 for 3.5 years. The project will advance geochemical understanding of fluid–rock interactions and their impact on geothermal reservoir performance through laboratory work and modelling.
The successful candidate will join a cross-disciplinary team led by Sanem Acikalin and colleagues, with a tax-free living allowance of £20,780 plus additional allowances for consumables, equipment and travel.
