Newcastle University offers a PhD Studentship in Process Industries:
Net Zero focusing on process systems engineering for energy-efficient polymer manufacturing. The project is conducted in collaboration with Victrex and is part of the EPSRC CDT in Process Industries:
Net Zero (PINZ).
You will develop quantitative methods and models to identify step-change energy reductions, work with industrial data, and gain access to Hillhouse site; starts 1 October 2026 for four years; sponsorship by EPSRC
