Job Description
An established and highly respected engineering consultancy with offices around the UK is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing Newcastle team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered or near-Chartered engineer looking to take a leading role in the delivery of diverse and technically challenging projects across the UK.
- You will manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients while leading and mentoring junior engineers.
- The role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, where you will manage your own workload, and will be client-facing.
- You will be responsible for producing and reviewing calculations, reports, specifications and drawings, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence and project delivery.
The successful candidate will have strong experience of structural design in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
Proficiency with software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Robot and Tedds is desirable, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
