The Role

You will be delivering a customer‑focused housing needs assessment service that is effective, efficient, highly professional and meets the needs of the customers we serve.

A key focus of the role will be undertaking Person‑Centred Fire Risk Assessments to identify individual customer support needs and implement appropriate actions to mitigate and reduce fire safety risks.

You will be responsible for assessing existing and new customers' housing needs based on physical, mental, emotional, or social situations/conditions that may require a specific property type, location or adaptation to enable them to live safely in their home.

You will work closely with colleagues and partners across the City to help create neighbourhoods where our customers are proud to call home.

The Person

You will have a real appreciation and understanding of what excellent customer service looks and feels like, and will live and breathe our values—Proud, Fair and Ambitious—on a day‑to‑day basis, with a passion for supporting customers and improving neighbourhoods.

While some knowledge and experience of social housing is preferred, what is more important is your drive and enthusiasm to support customers and work collaboratively with colleagues and partners across the City.
