Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join a growing accounts team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in finance, supporting performance management, financial planning, and business decision-making. The company are based in Mid Kent and looking for someone to be fully office based.

You Ll gain exposure across the business, supporting analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while building strong commercial awareness and contributing meaningful financial insight.

Key responsibilities
  • Support finance business partnering with commercial and operational teams
  • Assist with monthly financial reviews, including analysis and commentary
  • Monitor performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist with statutory reporting, management information, and board pack preparation
  • Help maintain accurate financial data and effective internal controls
  • Support compliance with UK regulatory and reporting requirements, including VAT and tax processes
  • Contribute to process improvements and finance projects as required
About you
  • Previous experience in a finance or similar analytical role
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to work with stakeholders across the business
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Well organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Interest in pursuing a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA) is advantageous
