Management Accountant

Overview

Management Accountant | Cheshire | Up to £60,000 | 6 month contract

A fast-paced and growing FMCG business is looking for a Management Accountant to join the finance team. You'll play a key role in producing accurate, timely financial information, supporting operational teams, and driving improvements across reporting and controls.

• Produce monthly management accounts with clear commentary and variance analysis.
• Lead cost and margin analysis across product lines, working closely with operations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including scenario modelling.
• Develop and improve KPI reporting packs for senior leadership.
• Identify and deliver process and control improvements across finance.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist with experience in a similar role.
• FMCG or manufacturing background strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Able to partner confidently with non-finance teams.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working at pace.
• Excellent communication skills and able to manage competing priorities.
