We’re partnered with a growing financial services business that operates an electronic trading platform, supporting institutional and wealth clients across global markets.
Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to hire a Trading Operations Analyst to support day-to-day trading and post-trade operations within a regulated environment.
The RoleYou’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of trading operations, supporting trade flow, regulatory processes, and operational controls across the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting day-to-day operational activity across the trading environment
- Assisting with client onboarding, including KYC / AML data collection and system setup
- Monitoring trading activity, controls, and reporting processes
- Supporting transaction reporting and record‑keeping obligations
- Performing reconciliations and investigating breaks/issues
- Acting as first‑line support for trade flow and downstream processes
- Liaising with Compliance on regulatory queries and audit requests
- Supporting market monitoring and escalation procedures
- Maintaining operational documentation, controls, and process maps
- Contributing to system and workflow improvement initiatives
- Supporting new product and instrument setup
- Producing operational MI and performance reporting
- Participating in UAT testing for operational and reporting changes
- Working cross‑functionally with Technology, Product, and Compliance teams
- Experience in Trading Operations, Middle Office, or Regulatory Reporting within a financial services environment
- Understanding of trade lifecycle and market infrastructure
- Exposure to transaction reporting, transparency, or post‑trade controls
- Knowledge of UK / EU financial regulations (e.g., MiFID II, MAR, AML)
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, data analysis)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Economics, Maths, or a related field
- Industry certifications or regulatory coursework are advantageous
