Group Accounting Manager

Confidential Finance Reporting Lead (IFRS) - Midlands / Hybrid

We're supporting a well-established international engineering and manufacturing group with the appointment of a senior finance professional into a key UK reporting and governance role.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to an ACA-qualified candidate from practice
, looking to make a first or second move into industry within a structured, internationally connected finance environment.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as the technical reporting lead for a UK site and finance team, with responsibility for:

• Monthly and annual group reporting under IFRS

• Liaising internationally on intercompany and central reporting requirements

• Leading local statutory reporting and audit processes

• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and governance standards

• Ownership of the general ledger (assets, inventory, accruals, provisions, reconciliations)

• Supporting AP/AR activities and wider finance operations

• Working with ERP structures and finance systems (SAP desirable)

• Professionally qualified (
  ACA ideal
  , ACCA/CIMA also considered)

• Strong grounding in financial reporting, audit, and IFRS

• Background in practice is highly advantageous (Top 10 / audit-trained profiles encouraged)

• Comfortable working in an international group setting

• ERP exposure preferred (SAP desirable)
