Corporate Tax Manager

Due to continued growth we are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager.

Job Purpose: Manage a portfolio of clients, review work of Tax Seniors and Assistants, prepare tax provisions and returns for complex clients, develop technical tax knowledge and strengthen management skills.

Sub‑teams: Owner‑Managed Businesses, Transaction Taxes, Large Corporates, International.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and supervision of corporate and personal tax computations supporting tax provisions and returns for HMRC submission.
  • Planning compliance work and managing the process through to submission of calculations.
  • Co‑ordinating tax payments, loss relief, capital allowances, group relief and other claims.
  • Reviewing complex tax returns and calculations to ensure accuracy.
  • Provision of high‑level technical and tax planning advice to clients, working with managers and partners.
  • Maintaining up‑to‑date technical knowledge of corporation and financial reporting requirements.
  • Monitoring tax compliance using tax administration software, keeping control records and ensuring quality control procedures.
  • Liaising with the client service team and colleagues in Audit and Accounting for coordinated service.
  • Involvement in tax advisory and planning work on client portfolios and ad‑hoc projects.
Qualifications
  • Highly experienced tax professional with relevant experience in corporate tax.
  • Strong leadership and professional development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others positively.
  • Qualified CA and/or CTA (or equivalent).
