Accounts Assistant

We’re working with a highly successful, fast-paced business to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role offering strong exposure across transactional finance and month-end support, ideal for someone looking to build and develop their finance career.

This opportunity would suit a motivated and career-focused accounts professional with solid experience across purchase and sales ledger duties. You’ll be a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders across the business and able to challenge when appropriate. A proactive, self-starting approach is key, with the autonomy to manage your workload following training and genuine scope for role development.

Role overview:

• Manage purchase and sales ledgers
• Process staff expenses
• Prepare and review aged creditor and debtor reports, resolving discrepancies ahead of month-end
• Credit control
• Support the month-end close, including prepayments and accruals
• Hybrid working once settled
