Management Accountant

Our client operates within the Manufacturing industry and the interim Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and supporting decision‑making processes in this fixed contract.

Our client is a well‑established organisation within the Manufacturing industry. As a medium‑sized company, they are dedicated to advancing innovation and maintaining excellence in their field. They are seeking a skilled, qualified Management Accountant to join their Accounting & Finance department on an interim basis.

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business operations.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and operational improvements.
• Oversee cost analysis and control to ensure efficiency across departments.
• Collaborate with other departments to monitor and report on financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting.

• A recognised qualification in accounting or a related field.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience within the FMCG or Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• Competitive salary of up to £55,000 per annum equivalent depending on skills and PQE.
