What is the opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Wealth Management Europe team. You will be responsible for performing more complex operational tasks accurately and efficiently, supporting daily team activities, and mitigating operational risk while maintaining data integrity. The Senior Administrator requires a strong foundation in operational procedures and practices, the ability to assist in issue resolution, identify and implement process improvements, and support more junior team members through knowledge sharing to ensure the smooth operation of business processes and contribute to the achievement of organisational goals.
Functional areas
The Data Maintenance & Quality team is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete, timely, and reliable data for Private Wealth clients, across all core applications, ensuring data integrity and consistency for internal and external use.
Permanent, full‑time role with 4 days in the office (Newcastle) – perfect for someone who thrives in a flexible, relationship‑driven environment.
What will you do?- Ensure work is produced to a high level of accuracy, in a timely manner, and to relevant SLAs and operational standards (where defined)
- Support line manager in ensuring departmental guides, processes, and procedures are current, as well as supporting the accurate production of MI and reporting (for example, active engagement with Active Ops)
- Escalate any issues as appropriate to management in relation to risks, errors, and/or daily workload completion in a timely manner
- Understand the team goals and the relationship to wider group strategy
- Understand and adhere to Risk & Control Framework and Policy Framework and engage proactively in regulatory and audit reviews
- Simplify and innovate using knowledge and experience. Support line managers in identifying and implementing areas of continuous improvement, in conjunction with Operations Initiatives
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on project work and take responsibility for more complex queries
- Good understanding of the Financial Services sector
