Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting, Financial Advisor / Consultant
Most paraplanning roles offer a salary, discretionary bonus (if you're lucky) and a vague promise about progression.
This one is different.
Here, you’ll receive a salary of up to £35,000, alongside a clear performance-related bonus that could add a further £20,000–£24,000 a year once you’re fully trained and established in the role.
The target is transparent - complete 40 cases a month while maintaining the required quality standards. Hit it consistently and earning more than £50,000 is genuinely realistic.
And if your longer-term ambition is to become a Financial Adviser, there is a clear route into advice, with support and funding for further qualifications.
THE JOBYou’ll join a busy technical planning team that currently includes six Paraplanners. Two additional roles have been approved because the volume of work continues to grow.
This team deals with the more complex cases, including higher-value clients and advice requiring more detailed calculations or technical input.
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you’ll help formulate suitable advice across areas including:
- Pensions
- Investments
- Tax planning
- Trusts
- Protection
You’ll complete the product research and report writing, using the company’s in-house planning system and established report templates.
There is no cashflow modelling involved.
Once you’re fully trained, you’ll work on a hybrid basis, spending three days each week in the office and two days at home.
WHAT YOU’LL NEEDIdeally, you’ll already hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
However, applications are also welcome from experienced Paraplanners who are close to completing it.
You’ll need to be comfortable managing a steady caseload, working accurately and dealing with advice that can be more technical than the average paraplanning role.
