Full-Time Are you a finance professional with a passion for improving systems, strengthening governance, and driving organisational performance? Reporting to the Director of Finance, this Finance Manager will be responsible for reviewing and improving financial processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and ensuring the organisation maintains high standards of financial governance and compliance. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop key performance measures, strengthen financial controls, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Finance Manager Review and enhance financial procedures, ensuring best practice is embedded across the finance team Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and implement effective solutions Develop and maintain finance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements Lead the review, procurement, implementation and development of financial systems to improve efficiency, accuracy and reporting capability Ensure monthly management accounts are accurate, timely and consistent Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, SORPs and regulatory requirements Develop meaningful financial and operational KPIs to provide assurance and insight to senior management and the Board Drive automation and process improvements to streamline operations and reduce long-term costs Performance & Planning Partner with the Director of Finance to monitor organisational performance and support strategic planning Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement Develop, monitor and report on organisational KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved and performance remains on track Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities through high-quality financial analysis and reporting Reporting & Stakeholder Management Oversee the production of regular financial and performance reports for the Board, Committees and Senior Management Team Ensure reporting provides clear, accurate and actionable information to support decision-making Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to understand reporting and system requirements About You The successful candidate will have:
Experience with in a finance management, financial systems or financial governance role Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, controls and governance requirements Experience leading systems implementations, process reviews and business improvement initiatives Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful insights Experience developing KPIs, management information and board-level reporting Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels If you are interested in applying, please do not hesitate as the hiring manager is reviewing applications as they come in.
