An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Children’s Team in Redbridge. This ongoing, full-time locum role focuses on delivering high-quality community-based occupational therapy services to children and young people aged 0–19
, including those with complex needs.

Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children and young people aged 0–19, including those with complex physical and developmental needs.
Recommend, prescribe, and review specialist equipment to support independence and safety.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and social care professionals.
Liaise closely with children, families, and carers to ensure person‑centred, effective interventions.
Deliver services across community settings, travelling between locations as required.
Maintain accurate, high-quality clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
Participate in reflective practice, supervision, and service improvement activities.
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with children and young people, ideally within community or paediatric services.
Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Car driver essential to support community-based work.
