About the role:
- Maintain a client caseload with care co-ordination responsibility
- Develop and sustain positive working relationships with agencies that support LGBTQIA+ service users in the wider community
- Carry out interventions that support the health, social and psychological needs of this client group
- Carry out in-reach at partnership services and or co-locate with other services
across Brighton and Hove - Work with colleagues and partners developing specific interventions that can support LGBTQIA+ service users
- Work alongside health promotion/national colleagues to develop relevant
information and promotional material to act as lead in the service for LGBTQIA+ issues, supporting colleagues and ensuring the service is responding to the needs of this service user group
- Experience of working with substance misuse issues and a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
- A clear understanding of issues relating to LGBTQIA+ service users and their engagement with services
- Experience of engaging with and providing interventions (in a substance misuse context) to LGBTQIA+ people
- 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Additionally,you'llreceive one extra day of annual leave for each year of service during your first five years, therefore you will enjoy 30 days of leave after five years with us.
