What you will do:

• Develop highly specialist assessments and treatment programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
• Create and implement therapeutic resources to assist in patient rehabilitation.
• Offer multidisciplinary support for clients dealing with various swallowing and communication challenges.
• Provide comprehensive feedback and advice to families, carers, and colleagues on communication needs and swallowing strategies.
• Employ specialised clinical techniques, such as interpreting video fluoroscopic and FEES examinations.
• Deliver training sessions to empower team members with knowledge about communication and swallowing difficulties.

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy, with HCPC registration.
• Recent relevant UK/NHS post-qualifying experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Proven track record of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a community rehabilitation setting.
