We have a 22.5 hour Receptionist vacancy based at Rutland Memorial Hospital, working within the Estates and Facilities Directorate.
As a Receptionist you will be responsible for meeting and greeting patients and visitors to site. Prompt, polite and courteous telephone call handling, providing information, redirecting calls as and when required in a professional manner.
The postholder will support the facilities team in planning and administration achieving an effective and efficient service provision. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of professional colleagues and service users.

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
To demonstrate the Trusts values in everything you do in the work environment and live up to LPTs Leadership Behaviours To comply with Health and Safety policy and procedures and to ensure a safe environment for employees, visitors, patients and contract
To provide a friendly and efficient service to all patients and visitors who attend reception across the Trust sites
To promptly and efficiently deal with all calls to the reception in a pleasant and courteous manner
To be responsible for ensuring the reception is manned at all times during agreed office hours
Reception duties and personal enquiries, directing visitors as appropriate
To receive incoming telephone calls and ensure that messages are accurately recorded and relayed in a timely manner.
To undertake a variety of general office duties, including typing, filing and mail Manage, prioritise and organise own workload and that of others to ensure that deadlines and the demands of the service are met at all times
Receive and distribute incoming post, receive external post, frank and/or prepare for collection via porters or Royal Mail Maintain a register of rooms and users details.
