Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner; Bank

As a Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:

• Work in a multi‑disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.

Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training. Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Registered with the appropriate governing body and possessing the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.

Post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment, with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Located in Jesmond, you will be working at one of the North East’s leading private hospitals. The hospital has a Good CQC rating, 27 ensuite private bedrooms, three state‑of‑the‑art operating theatres and a dedicated breast care unit. On‑site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI are available, as well as on‑site physiotherapy specialists. We specialise in orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight‑loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.
