Job Summary

Scrub Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) – Theatre Practitioner at Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne. Permanent full‑time (37.5 hrs/week) with weekend work. Salary up to £41,250, depending on experience.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.
• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, including Surgical First Assist training.

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
• Professional registration currently held.

• Post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment.
• Team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary surgical setting.
