Shifts:
Various shifts available
, including 6-hour, 8-hour and 12-hour day and night shifts. Weekend availability required , guaranteed hours available after successful

Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Routes Healthcare is expanding its specialist Paediatric Regional Complex Care Team and is looking for experienced care professionals to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs across the North East.

You will provide specialist one-to-one and two-to-one care, supporting clients with:

• Tracheostomy care
• Suctioning and airway management
• Ventilation support
• Complex personal care
• Neurological and spinal injury support
• Clinical observations and monitoring
• Promoting independence, wellbeing and quality of life

Travel across the region is required, with mileage paid.

Specialist clinical training through Routes Academy

Ongoing clinical support and competency sign-offs

24/7 on-call clinical team

Mental health and wellbeing support

Consistent work with employed Routes Healthcare staff

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
• Compassionate, reliable and professional approach
• Previous paediatric care experience
• Tracheostomy, suctioning or ventilation experience
• Spinal injury or neurological care experience
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
