You'll lead and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care — providing guidance and supervision to care staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while acting as a positive role model for the team.## What you'll do
* Lead by example in delivering high-quality care that meets residents' individual needs, with dignity, respect and compassion.
* Support daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility and mealtimes.
* Ensure care practices comply with CIW/CQC, RISCA and HSE standards, checking care documentation and reports for accuracy.
* Support medication administration in line with training and protocols.
* Act as a point of contact for staff on shift, providing handovers and contributing to care reviews and meetings.
* Report concerns or changes in residents' needs to managers promptly.
* Monitor the care environment for safety and cleanliness, promoting safe moving and handling, infection control and fire safety.
* Support induction and mentoring of new staff, and complete all mandatory training while supporting others to do the same.## What you'll need
* Experience working in a care home or similar setting
* Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards Level
3)
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* A reliable and flexible approach to work
* Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK
* Social Care Wales registration (for roles in Wales) or completion of the Care Certificate (for roles in England, if not already achieved)### Desirable
* Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
* Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues
