Laboratory Assistant

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant, to join a massive multinational consumer goods company that manufactures and sells a wide range of well-known household, personal care, and hygiene products at its site located in Newcastle on a contract basis for 8 months. This role is fully site based.

Salary:
£13.30 per hour PAYE

Laboratory Assistant Role:

Weighing product and making solutions.
Preparation and testing of formulations, including preparation of products for consumer tests; physical and chemical analysis of formulations/products.
Performing large or small-scale performance tests following defined test methods.
General housekeeping and ensuring labs are kept appropriately according to operating procedures.
Running mechanical equipment and computer-activated test methods.

Your Background:

Hold a relevant scientific qualification.
Experience working in a laboratory environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
