Salary£12.41 per hour, plus a Night Shift Allowance of £0.60ph for hours worked between 11 pm and 6 am, increasing to £0.75ph from 1 May 2025.

About the RoleAs a Lounge Host you will report to the Team Leader and work cross‑functionally to ensure guest expectations are met and exceeded, leaving our lounges feeling welcomed, relaxed, and energized.
Responsibilities- Reception:
- Provide a warm and friendly welcome, efficient check‑in, and set the scene for guests’ energizing experience.
- Answer questions efficiently and direct guests to appropriate lounge areas.
- Manage capacity during peak times to maximise guest throughput.
- Bid farewell to guests on departure to encourage return visits.
- Food and Beverage:
- Work as a team to ensure all food and beverage offerings are continually available and well presented.
- Maintain clean and professional presentation of food self‑service and bar areas.
- Prepare food in line with the sessional menu guide, including a variety of meat, vegetarian, and vegan dishes.
- Serve a range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks, engaging with guests.
- Guide guests to food and drink options, including knowledge of dietary and allergen information.
- Replenish stock levels when required.
- General Host:
- Clear and clean tables when guests vacate.
- Maintain high levels of organization and cleanliness within the lounge at all times.
- Respond promptly to guest questions or comments with outstanding customer service.
- Back of House:
- Assist with stock delivery and rotation.
- Handle waste according to recycling procedures.
- Load and unload the dishwasher.
- Restock cleaned crockery and dishes.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene in all areas.
- Ad‑hoc reasonable requests by the local leadership team will be part of your role. The list above is not exhaustive and may vary based on location and customer requirements.
- Background in hospitality or customer service with high levels of customer interaction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills and keen eye for detail.
- Computer literacy, including payment machines and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work as part of a team or self‑motivate to complete tasks.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures, applying flexibility when required.
- Additional languages desirable.
- Flexible to work shifts covering 33:30 – 21:00, 7 days a week.
