People & Capability Coordinator

As an ASX-listed company, our footprint spans energy, defence, infrastructure and resources. We’re on the lookout for a People & Capability Coordinator to support our powerhouse team. Based in our Charlestown, Newcastle office, you’ll play a key role in keeping our administration, compliance and people processes running smoothly.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle, ensuring our HRIS is up to date, coordinating meetings and events, and being a trusted first point of contact for employee queries.
Your day-to-day might include:
- Scheduling interviews and supporting recruitment activities
- Following up onboarding tasks to ensure all records are complete
- Booking pre-employment screening appointments
- Keeping our Martian Logic system (and our spreadsheets!) in top shape
- Welcoming new hires and setting them up for success
- Organise events that boost employee engagement
You are highly organised, a confident communicator, and someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment. You’re in it for the long term, with a drive to learn and grow and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and creating the best experience for everyone.
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated excellence in Human Resources administration
- A relevant qualification and/or proven industry know-how
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems – bonus points if you’ve used Martian Logic
- Impeccable judgement and confidentiality, along with a genuine care for people
- Strong relationship-building skills
- An understanding of HR legislation and contemporary best practice
- Tech-savvy skills and a can-do attitude
