There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Group Head Office, located in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit a Future Talent Pastoral Coordinator to join the Division’s Human Resources department.
** The Role
** As Future Talent Development Coordinator, you will play a proactive role in shaping Bellway’s future talent landscape. You will design, enhance and coordinate high-impact programmes for apprentices, graduates and trainees while ensuring their journey aligns with Bellway’s long-term people strategy. You will set the direction for our Graduate/foundation level leadership programme, ensuring it evolves to meet future capability needs and reflects Bellway’s values and strategic priorities.

The postholder will also manage funding elements including Apprenticeship Levy planning, provider contract oversight and identifying opportunities to maximise value for money. You will build and maintain strong relationships with training providers, colleges and partners to ensure programme quality and future workforce readiness.

Working closely with the Future Talent Pastoral Coordinator and the Recruitment and OD teams, you will ensure a seamless ‘golden thread’ across all future talent activities, from attraction and pre-boarding through to development, retention and progression.

Principal accountabilities of the role include:
* Establish, maintain and develop strong working relationships with divisional teams and third‑party learning providers to ensure programmes align with long-term workforce needs.
* Oversee funding planning including Apprenticeship Levy utilisation, forecasting and identifying opportunities to expand provision.
* Lead and continuously improve the “Good Foundations” leadership programme, ensuring its content, structure and delivery remain future-focused and high quality.
* Coordinate enrolment, onboarding and pre-boarding for new graduates, trainees and apprentices, ensuring a seamless experience.
* Collaborate with the Pastoral Coordinator to monitor progress, outcomes and retention of all future talent colleagues.
* Support the organisation and delivery of assessment centres and selection activity for apprentices and graduates.
* Develop and implement engagement initiatives to motivate and involve early careers colleagues.
* Organise and coordinate a structured national work experience programme feeding into future talent pipelines.
* Support school and college outreach activity to strengthen the employer brand and widen access to house building careers.
* Recognise and celebrate achievements through events, awards and communications.
* Act as Deputy Safeguarding Officer and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
* Represent Bellway at events across the UK and support activities to build an employer-of-choice brand.

* Experience managing Apprenticeship Levy funding or working with provider funding agreements.
* Experience influencing or shaping future talent or skills development activity at a strategic or programme level.
