Full-time onsite, operating within a 24x7 rotational shift pattern

Compensation:
Includes a generous 35% shift allowance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national and hold or be eligible for high‑level UK government security clearance (DV). Please note we can consider candidates from both Erskine or Newcastle locations.

• Own and manage infrastructure platforms from design through to incident resolution
• Drive automation and operational efficiency using Power
  
  CLI, Terraform, and Ansible
• Ensure platform stability and security across vSphere, NSX, SRM, Azure, Active Directory, and Linux distributions
• Collaborate across the 24x7 operation to uplift technical standards and share best practices
• Support hybrid environments with a focus on uptime, scalability, and compliance

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience across VMware, Microsoft, and Linux ecosystems
• Proven ability to lead technical troubleshooting and platform optimisation
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Power Shell, Bash, Python)
• Experience in secure environments and eligibility for UK government DV clearance
• A proactive mindset with a passion for mentoring and growing technical teams
