About the role

We are looking for a Support Consultant to join our Financial Management Systems team. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service and resolving technical issues efficiently and professionally.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing 1st Line support across a range of applications. Working within a fast-paced support environment, you will triage and diagnose issues, manage service requests, and ensure customers receive clear, timely communication throughout.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers, and building technical knowledge in financial systems.

What You Will Do
  • Handle incoming support calls and emails, ensuring all relevant information is accurately captured

  • Deliver high-quality customer service across all touchpoints

  • Perform 1st Line application support including phone calls, web incidents, voicemails, call-backs, and email queries

  • Triage and diagnose application issues, identifying root causes where possible

  • Monitor and manage tickets to ensure issues are resolved within agreed service levels

  • Escalate incidents appropriately when required

  • Maintain clear and accurate records within the ticketing system

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient resolution of customer issues

What You Will Have
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach

  • Experience in a technical support or service desk environment

  • 1st Line support experience across phone and email channels

  • Experience using ticketing systems

  • Background supporting Financial Management Systems is desirable

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

  • Well organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy team

  • Confident using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
