About the Role

A fast-scaling international retail business is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to design and evolve its internal systems landscape. This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on building a seamless, scalable technology backbone that connects ERP, data platforms, and operational workflows.

You’ll be the bridge between business needs and technical execution, architecting solutions that integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with data infrastructure, marketplaces, and supply chain systems. This is a senior role and one that requires deep collaboration across departments including Data, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture of internal systems with Business Central at the core
  • Design scalable, secure, and commercially pragmatic solutions
  • Map business processes and optimise system workflows
  • Architect integrations between ERP, data warehouse, marketplaces, and 3PLs
  • Drive automation to reduce manual effort and improve execution speed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Define architectural standards and governance processes
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across systems
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to support scalability and resilience

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Proven track record in systems integration within finance and retail environments
  • Strong technical skills in Fabric, SQL, and Python
  • Hands‑on approach to workflow mapping and integration design
  • Skilled at engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of data structures, reporting, and governance
  • Commercially astute, balancing robustness with speed and cost‑effectiveness
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
  • Strategic thinker with a long‑term view on systems development and scalability
