Role Overview :We are seeking a Data Architect to join a Scrum team delivering data ingestion and processing capabilities within a strategic enterprise analytics platform. The platform enables advanced analytics and decision-making by consolidating multiple complex data sources into a secure, scalable, and governed environment.
In this role, you will define and maintain data architecture, establish standards, and translate complex business requirements into robust, compliant solutions that align with enterprise principles. You will work across technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the platform supports critical operational and analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, maintain, and optimise data models and architecture to meet strategic organisational needs.
- Establish and enforce data standards, metadata management, and governance practices.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, compliant, and high-performing data solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and usability of data assets.
- Undertake data profiling, analysis, and reporting to support insight-driven decision-making.
- Support problem management and continuous improvement across the data environment.
- Proven experience in data architecture and modelling within large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience working with high-volume, high-complexity datasets and enterprise-wide platforms.
- Strong understanding of metadata management, data governance, and compliance requirements.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable, compliant, and high-performing data solutions.
- Knowledge of SAS and enterprise data platforms is desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
