IT Manager

This is a hands‑on opportunity for an IT professional who wants real ownership of a broad IT estate in a fast‑paced, sports environment.

You’ll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly day to day - resolving issues, supporting users, and steadily improving systems and processes as the organisation grows.

It would suit someone who enjoys variety and pace, and is comfortable in an environment where priorities can shift and no two weeks look the same.

• Overall ownership of IT operations, infrastructure and core systems
• Ensuring systems are secure, resilient and fit for a growing organisation
• Acting as the main point of contact for technology across technical and non-technical teams
• Managing third-party suppliers and vendors
• Driving improvements, upgrades, and modernisation
• Overseeing cybersecurity, data protection, and system reliability
• Providing on‑site IT support for key operational moments, including events

• 3+ years proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations
• Broad technical knowledge across networks, hardware, cloud services and applications
• Confidence working autonomously
• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions‑led approach
• Calm under pressure and comfortable in time‑sensitive environments
• Experience in sport, events or similar settings is useful, but not essential
