Azure Data Architect​/Cloud Data Architect

This role is a hybrid role based in Newcastle.

As an Azure Data Architect, you'll lead the design and delivery of modern Azure data platforms, helping clients transform complex data into valuable business insight. You'll work closely with stakeholders, engineers and architects to create secure, scalable solutions that support long-term growth and innovation.

You'll also help shape cloud strategies, promote best practice, mentor colleagues and contribute to technical leadership across CGI's growing data community.

• Design scalable Azure data architectures

We're looking for someone with strong Azure data architecture experience who enjoys solving complex challenges and working collaboratively with clients and delivery teams.

• Experience as a Data Architect within enterprise environments
• Strong data modelling and database design expertise
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Power BI
• Knowledge of Azure security, governance and compliance
• Experience designing scalable cloud data platforms
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• Azure Data Engineer Associate certification
• Azure AI or Data Scientist certification
• Degree or equivalent professional experience
