Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Our client is a specialist technology organisation formed through a partnership between a global consultancy and an international investment firm. They build bespoke, high-performance technology solutions for clients across financial services, private capital and defence.

They are now looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to join their Newcastle team, working across infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring and environment management in a highly technical, collaborative environment.

You’ll be joining a team that values ownership, curiosity and strong engineering fundamentals, with plenty of scope to work on complex, meaningful problems.

Qualifications

Power Shell or similar scripting languages
C#, Java or Python (strong coding ability required)
Terraform, Ansible or other IaC tools
Docker and Kubernetes (or similar)
CI/CD tooling (e.g. Team City)
Windows and Linux environments

Nice to have

Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket)
Octopus Deploy, Sonar Qube, Artifactory
VMware / SAN experience

This role offers strong autonomy, varied technical work and the chance to work closely with highly experienced engineers on complex, real-world systems.
