Senior DevOps Engineer

A high-growth technology consultancy is launching a brand-new consulting practice and is looking for experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineers to help build its Dev Ops capability from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the start of a greenfield business where you'll design secure cloud infrastructure, build modern automation platforms and influence the tooling, architecture and operational strategy behind mission-critical technology programmes.

You'll work alongside exceptional Software Engineers, Data Engineers and Technical Consultants to deliver highly secure, cloud-native solutions while helping shape the future of the engineering practice.

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer you'll design, automate and maintain secure cloud and on-premise environments while driving Dev Ops best practice across the engineering lifecycle.

• Designing secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI or Azure Dev Ops
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Cloud Formation or Pulumi
• Deploying and managing containerised platforms using Docker and Kubernetes
• Developing automation using Python, Bash or Power Shell
• Improving monitoring, observability and operational resilience using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or Open Telemetry
• Collaborating with Software and Data Engineers to deliver scalable cloud platforms
• Supporting greenfield projects and helping define Dev Ops standards and tooling

We're looking for experienced Dev Ops Engineers with hands‑on expertise across modern cloud infrastructure and automation.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Terraform, Cloud Formation or Pulumi
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD tooling (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI or Azure Dev Ops)
• Python, Bash or Power Shell
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or Open Telemetry
• Building secure, scalable production environments
• Working within Agile engineering teams
