Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements- Commercial experience in a Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering role.
- Strong AWS experience across core services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS Code Pipeline and Code Build.
- Experience deploying and supporting containerised workloads using Docker and ECS.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools.
- Experience with Cloud Formation and/or AWS CDK.
- Scripting experience using Python and/or Shell.
- Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Experience using Git‑based source control workflows.
- Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Terraform experience is desirable.
- AWS Lambda and serverless architecture experience is desirable.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or alternative CI/CD tooling is desirable.
- Experience with in regulated environments such as Financial Services or Insurance is desirable.
- Knowledge of release management and change control processes is desirable.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
- Manage and support AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and networking components.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, and related tooling.
- Support containerised application deployments using Docker and Amazon ECS.
- Automate operational processes using Python, Shell scripting, and AWS‑native services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, and/or Terraform.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and system health.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
