DevOps Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

• Commercial experience in a Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong AWS experience across core services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Code Pipeline and Code Build.
• Experience deploying and supporting containerised workloads using Docker and ECS.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools.
• Experience with Cloud Formation and/or AWS CDK.
• Scripting experience using Python and/or Shell.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Experience using Git‑based source control workflows.
• Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Terraform experience is desirable.
• AWS Lambda and serverless architecture experience is desirable.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or alternative CI/CD tooling is desirable.
• Experience with in regulated environments such as Financial Services or Insurance is desirable.
• Knowledge of release management and change control processes is desirable.

• Monitor platform performance, availability, and system health.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
