We are supporting a leading global technology consultancy in recruiting an experienced Solution Architect to join its Newcastle-based capability, working across complex and secure client programmes.

This role will see you design end-to-end technology solutions , define architectural roadmaps and provide technical leadership to ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Design and define end-to-end solution architectures
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop architectural roadmaps for systems and business services
• Produce architecture documentation using Archi Mate, UML and BPMN
• Define architectural standards, principles and technical guidelines
• Design solutions using cloud, open-source and open-standard technologies
• Define integration approaches and architecture patterns
• Provide technical leadership to development and engineering teams
• Ensure delivered solutions conform to agreed architectural standards
• Work across both Agile and traditional delivery environments
• Contribute to architecture best practice, innovation and thought leadership

• Strong experience within Solution Architecture / Technical Architecture
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and frameworks
• Cloud technology experience
• Knowledge of open-source technologies and open standards
• Strong understanding of integration techniques and architecture patterns
• Experience with Archi Mate, UML and/or BPMN
• Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience providing technical leadership to development teams
• Strong Quality Assurance and design review capabilities
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

• Salary up to £66,000

Security requirements:
Candidates must be eligible for BPSS and SC+ clearance , typically requiring 5 years' continuous UK address history . For this specific client requirement, applicants must also be a British passport holder with no dual nationality .
