IT Project Manager, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, Systems Administrator
Description for the Infrastructure Manager role:
- This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve managing a Systems Administration and Infrastructure team (c6 people) in a fast-paced technology environment. It requires a strong engineering background including Linux administration, Kubernetes, Cloud technologies and Puppet/Ansible. The role will not be "hands on" day to day, but more owning architectural decisions and managing/prioritising the workload of the team and projects.
The role can be remote with the proviso that you can visit the their offices (once a month) for important meetings (Newcastle)
Experience required for the Infrastructure Manager role:

- 7yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure role
- Team leading/Management experience
- Solid networking/security understanding/experience
- Ansible/Puppet
Salary for the Infrastructure Manager role will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £75,000 to £90,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
