Role OverviewSupport and administration of the Auto Sys Workload Automation platform used to manage DWP batch scheduling services. The engineer will provide operational support, incident resolution, platform maintenance and participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota to maintain service availability.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain operational support for the Auto Sys Workload Automation estate.
- Maintain and optimise the BMC Helix platform suite.
- Contribute to out-of-hours support arrangements and improve team resilience.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions supporting Flexera SaaS integration.
- Provide engineering expertise and leadership to enable strategic work streams to continue whilst maintaining BAU services.
- Support service availability, stability and operational effectiveness across DWP tooling services.

- BMC Helix Capacity Optimisation (BHCO)
- BMC Helix Discovery
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Flexera Software Asset Management platform (desirable)
