Olio Food Waste Volunteer

Experience required

You'll be collecting surplus food, the quantity will vary. You can either walk, bike or take your vehicle for collections. You'll then be communicating through our app and sharing the collections with your nearby requesters.

5 September 2025

Volunteers will need to complete 5 mandatory training modules (online videos and quizz). After that, Olio provides an issue report form, ongoing team support, and squad captains at collection sites.

Open to all. Collections can be heavy and may contain meat/dairy. Must transport food home.
