Procurement Administrator

Job Summary

Elliot Thomas Consulting are exclusively partnered with an established and highly regarded interiors business who are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join their team and work closely with the Purchasing Manager. This is a structured, process-driven role, ideal for someone who is organised, detail-focused and enjoys getting things right. There is no negotiation element to the position — you'll follow established processes and support the Purchasing Manager with the day-to-day procurement of high-end interior projects.

The Role

• Raise and process purchase orders
• Obtain and record supplier quotations
• Check pricing, quantities and specifications
• Place orders following agreed processes
• Track orders and delivery dates
• Liaise with suppliers and chase updates
• Maintain accurate procurement records and spreadsheets
• Check invoices and purchase orders
• Support the Purchasing Manager with general procurement administration

About You

• You'll ideally have experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, supply chain or administration, with strong attention to detail and organisation.
• You’ll be:
  Methodical and process-driven
• Numerically confident
• Comfortable using Excel and Microsoft Office
• A strong communicator
• Able to manage multiple deadlines
• Keen to develop within procurement
• Experience with in interiors, furniture, construction or a similar environment would be advantageous.
