Procurement & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Tyne & Wear (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to support purchasing, supply chain and logistics activities within a fast-paced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage procurement of materials, equipment and services.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations and raise purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate UK and international freight movements.
- Manage shipping and customs documentation.
- Support project teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Assist with inventory control, asset tracking and process improvements.
- Previous experience within Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
- Experience coordinating deliveries and freight movements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with in engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical sectors is advantageous.
