HGV Fitter

Overview

FM Conway is recruiting for an experienced HGV Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop division based at our Heathrow depot. You will work in our busy Heathrow workshop on a wide range of commercial vehicles, maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV transport to a high standard. This is a permanent, full-time position.

• Maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV vehicles
• Completing paperwork following any maintenance activities
• Working as part of a team or remotely and adapting your skills to other areas when required
• Working safely in compliance with risk assessments and method statements and being willing to challenge any unsafe practices

• Experience in commercial vehicles and electrical systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Full UK driving licence
• City and Guilds 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent NVQ in standard motor mechanics
• Knowledge of cranes, white lining equipment and hydraulic systems is desirable
