Job DescriptionWorking Hours:Monday to Friday 16:00-19:00 (15 hours per week)
Pay:£13.21 per hour
Location: Percy Hedley Horizons East - Station Road, Forest Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 9NQ
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join the team at Percy Hedley Horizons East as a Cleaning Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. Youmust be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, havethe ability to communicate on all levels and provideflexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.
The successful candidate will require enhanced DBS clearance prior to starting.
Please note:
If you have worked or lived overseas for a period of more than 3 months in the last 10 years, you will need to provide a police check from that country.
Duties include:
- Cleaning ofdesignated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaningspecification is completed, as per the siteinstructions
- Emptying of bins,ensuring recycled waste is disposed ofcorrectly
- Attending tospillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure siteand staff safety
- Following H&Sand COSHH regulations
- Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handlingchemicals
- Proactiveinteraction with on-site clients and customers, offeringsuperb customer service.
- Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handlingchemicals
- Carrying out anyother reasonable managementrequests
- Good attention todetail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Flexibility to covershifts as and when required
- Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
