Cleaner (School Cleaning) – St Mary's RC School, Benton Park Road, NE7 7PE

Hours:

15 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Pay: £13.45 per hour.

Reliable and friendly individuals with a positive attitude. No experience necessary as full training will be provided.

Working as part of a team, you will clean designated areas such as corridors, classrooms, offices, and toilet areas using required equipment. You will empty bins, mop and vacuum floors, ensuring fixed deadlines are met. Tasks require regular stooping, bending, and lifting. A basic understanding of written and spoken English is required for safe use of chemicals.

This is a regulated activity. Successful candidates must pass a DBS check and other criminal background checks.  are required to complete the DBS. The role cannot start without a valid DBS.

Facility Services and Civic Management provide building cleaning, caretaking, school meals and welfare catering services across Newcastle and Gateshead. We have a large team of cleaners, supervisors, caretakers, catering staff and chefs working various hours and shifts.
